Q. What is Permanent Makeup?

A. A cosmetic technique which employs tatoos(permanent pigmentation) as a means of producing designs that resemble make up such as : eyeliner, eyebrows and lips.

Permanent Make Up is most commonly called permanent cosmetics. Other names include dermapigmentation, micro-pigmentation and cosmetic tatooing.

Q. Does it hurt to get permanent make up done?

A. The application is relatively simple, taking between 1 and 2 hours depending which are of the face is applied. The person will feel a slight pressure where it is applied with no discomfort.

Q. Is the permanent make up process safe?

A. Permanent Make Up is a very safe application. It is important though, that will be applied by a Certified P.M.U. Technician. All Certified Technicians use the latest approved tools and tatooing instruments in the industry on all P.M.U. applications.

Q. How long does permanent make up take to apply?

A. Usually it takes an average of 2 hours. The length of the application depends on the area of the face that is applied (eyeliner, eyebrows , lips or a combination of all).

Q. How long does permanent make up last?

A. Permanent Make Up applied by a Certified Technician usually last between 2 to 5 years. It start fading off after 2-2 ½ yrs when a minor touch-up is recommended to keep the Permanent Make Up appearance at its optimum level.
